How We Help End Hunger
Wonder what happens to excess food on campus?
At Bon Appetit we have committed that by the end of 2018, at least 80% of accounts will be Food Recovery Certified, meaning the majority of the locations we operate within will be regularly donating their wholesome, excess food to people in need through a variety of food donation programs. At Genentech, this program is already well under way with excess food donations going to the Chefs to End Hunger organization.
If you would like more information about this program and how Bon Appetit and Genentech have partnered to fight hunger, please speak with a manager at any of our cafes, or visit the Chefs to End Hunger website for an in depth look at their vision and organization: www.chefsendhunger.org
